Dale began his career in marketing and sales directing in both the disability nursing and medical industries for international brands before moving into the club industry in 1999. Starting off in Concierge, Beverage and Gaming positions, Dale then moved into Marketing and Operational positions. Dale joined Mounties as the Operations Manager of Harbord Diggers in 2009, before being appointed the General Manager of the Northern Sites of the Mounties Group.

In his earlier years, he represented Australia at an elite level in two different sports and has served the local community in volunteer roles such as childcare, youth services, and community health. His management philosophy of a balanced approach between commercial reality, member services and community responsibility is one of his key strengths and most valued principles.
